Today we have two new things to share with your eyeballs. This is exciting!

Pre-Conference Meetup: get your badge early!

First up: There will be a small meetup on November 24th, the day before the conference. It will take place at El Burro Vienna, a lovely place near Karlsplatz that also serves awesome mexican food!

The event starts at 15:00h and will take about 3 hours. We’ll have a couple of talks, some drinks and delicious tacos. What’s not to like?

👉 PRO TIP: If you have a ticket for the webclerks conference, you can register and pick up your name badge already there, so you won’t have to stand in line the next day!

If you want to attend the meetup, please register. It’s a smaller place, so there’s limited seats. If you just want to pick up your badge, you can drop by anytime though.

If you want to give a short (max. 15 minutes) talk at this meetup, please send us an email with the title and a short rough description of your topic.

Lunchbreak Lightning Talks!

We’re also looking for anyone who wants to give a lightning talk (about 10 minutes) at the main conference on November 25!
Here’s how that will go down:

The lunch break starts at 13:00 and ends at 15:00. We’ve organised lunch for that time at Badeschiff Wien, which is right next door to the venue. However, there’s only enough seats for about 100 people there, so it would be best to not have everyone rush over at once - instead we’re looking to spread it out a little.

That’s why there will be lightning talks during the lunch break - we’ll announce these before. We’d like to encourage everyone who is interested to stay a little longer, listen, and then head over to lunch (don’t worry, there will be enough for all 😉).

If you want to give a lunchbreak lightning talk, please send us an email with the title and a short rough description of your topic.

See you all soon!
